Job duties include: Responsible for managing sales efforts in assigned area including cultivating new accounts and servicing existing customers through proactive sales and marketing efforts. Communicates with key customers. Provides quotations and supplies technical information to customers and sales reps. Position also assists in developing tactical and strategic sales and marketing plans as well as devising new product concepts. Works with engineering department concerning new and existing products.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/sales, or related discipline preferred but not required. An added bonus would be experience with selling electro-mechanical products into OEM (original equipment manufacturer) accounts, however not required. Experience in selling engineered products with long sales cycles. Experience in using CRM (customer relationship management) software a plus.
Ideal candidate would have a background that demonstrates a solid practical knowledge of the electronic packaging industry, particularly electronics enclosures, a great attitude toward customer service, company objectives, and sales goals. One-two years’ experience, ability to travel 25% of time.
