| How do we "Complete the Case"?
We're not a fabrication shop...we just act a little like
one when it comes to customizing our standard products.
We'll take any one of our cases and customize it to whatever
spec you have in mind for the end user. That includes
the following:
Holes, Machining, and Self-Clinching Inserts:
| Self-Clinching Inserts
: For mounting of electronics, we can provide studs,
standoffs, blind studs, captive nuts, Spring Latches,
rivets, and right angle standoffs in a variety of sizes.

Holes: We offer
an extensive inventory of over 600 punches, from the
simple to the most complex.

| Machining: With
dedicated CNC milling equipment, we can create virtually
any shape you require. Most machining is performed
before metal finishing, assuring a uniform finish coating.

| Special Sizes:
Need a special size? Just let us know. For extruded
cases, such as the E-Series, Build Your Own box, and
XPAND-A series, we can cut the extrusion to any depth
up to ~ 15”
For most our other enclosure series, we can alter
the height, width, and depth to your exact specification

Finishing, Shielding, and
Graphics: Product with metal parts
are treated with both an undercoat and a top coat
of either powder paint, water-based paints, or vinyl-clad
aluminum that provide a durable and attractive finish.
Based on the product series, Buckeye uses the following
undercoats
to protect your investment: |

Alodine: Yellow and Clear. Primary
functions are for paint adherence, rust inhibiting, and
conductivity.
Anodize: Clear and Blue. Primary functions
are for cosmetic appearance, hardness, and rust inhibiting.
Zinc Chromate: Yellow, Clear, and
Black. Primary functions are for conductivity and rust
inhibiting
Paints: We use both powder and water-based
paints. Painting to your color scheme is one of the most common
ways to add eye-appeal to
your product. Either call out a PMS (Pantone Matching System)
color, RAL color, or provide us a minimum 2” x 2” chip for
matching. If you want
a specific texture, please provide a chip as well.
Vinyl-Clad Aluminum : Used on many of our case
lines, this material provides a very tough, yet attractive
finish. It comes in different colors in
a light textured surface, and can be easily punched.
Masking: To help achieve specific
appearance or shielding requirements, let us know your masking
requirements, and we’ll handle the job.
Shielding: Many of our standard designs
incorporate effective shielding into their design, with the
use of overlapping seams and multiple fasteners.
For special requirements, we can provide Copper-Beryllium
and Metal-Impregnated gasketing, Copper-Nickel paint, and
placement of additional fastening hardware.
| Silk Screening: An
easy and cost-effective way to add functionality and
eye appeal to your case. Whether you require single,
or multi-color screening, let our experienced team
finish the job for you. Either provide camera-ready
artwork, or send us drawings electronically in .cdr,
.dwg, .dxf, .tif or .eps file formats, with a minimum
of 300 dpi resolution. Please specify the font style
and size. To ensure accuracy, please provide
a hard copy of your artwork along with your file.
We can screen any PMS color, or send in a 2” x 2”
chip if you need us to match a specific ink color.
Fonts: If you want a non-standard Windows font, please
provide us the font file electronically. |

| Graphic
Overlays: Overlays provide a distinctively
elegant look to your product.
Either provide camera-ready artwork, or if you prefer,
send us drawings electronically in .tif or .esp file
formats, with a minimum of 300 dpi resolution.
We can also apply the overlay prior to shipment.

AutoCAD Drawings:
We provide an extensive library of drawings on the website
for quick and easy layout of your components.
To speed the quotation and order process, please send us your
drawings via email in .dwg, .dxf, iges, .pdf, or
.par file formats.
