BMX/BMU Rackmount and Desktop Enclosures
The BMX series has become the enclosure of choice for Buckeyes largest case customers. These stylish enclosures boast a soft rounded look resulting from molded plastic trims. Classic Buckeye features are incorporated, including optional internal chassis kits and other mounting pieces. The side panels and horizontal trims come pre-punched with mounting holes. The BMX also has flat front and rear panels for easy modification. The BMU variation includes rails and card guides for the installation of 3U printed circuit boards. Options such as side carrying handles, tilt stands, and flip feet are available.

XPAND-A® Custom Enclosures
The XPAND-A Series is the only "standard" Buckeye
enclosure that can truly be made to any height, width, and depth.
The case utilizes only one extrusion that forms the top and bottom
and sides of the top, bottom, and side panel assemblies. The balance
of the case is flat sheet metal stock. The extrusions can be cut
to infinite lengths and the sheet metal can be sheared to infinite
lengths and widths. As truly custom enclosures, there are no standard
sizes or finishes. Ideal for smaller to medium size case requirements.

FC Series Rackmount Aluminum Enclosures
While
the FC case has been used for many other products, this niche variety
is primarliy used in the video and audio tape industry for counters
/ timers / real time clocks. It is offered in two models, FC-A
and FC-B. The FC-A series is a three piece sheet metal enclosure
with a non-decorative finish. The FC-B is made of a combination
of extrusions and vinyl clad aluminum. The FC-B is a very attractive
unit and is the larger seller. The line has a couple of standard
widths and depths and one height. Due to the space limitation inside
of a 1.75 high enclosure, no internal parts are offered allowing the customer to utilize all the available interior space.

The standard case line has 4 heights (3.5, 5.25, 7.00 and 8.75), all rack mount width, and 4 depths (10, 13, 16, and 20). The front panel is .125 thick aluminum and serves as both the front panel and the rack mounting attachment. The balance of the case is paint ready alodine .062 thick formed aluminum. Standard Extruded Aluminum Enclosures
These "classic" electronics
enclsoures are manufactured using extrusions and flat sheet metal,
allowing
infinite heights, widths, and depths. These cases are very rugged
with many standard sizes, and permit installation of heavy
components. If any of the components
are damaged in the field, replacement components can be purchased
from Buckeye directly.
DSC is an assembly of component parts with optional components such as rack mount handles, vented or thicker top and bottom panels and flat front, and rear panels which are easily modified and silk screened. There are internal extruded channels in the side panels, which can be used for mounting components without damaging the outside appearance. The top and bottom panels are painted with a matching feature stripe on the side panel(s).
On The DII, instead of paint, the top and bottom panels are made from a vinyl clad material with a matching vinyl feature stripe on the side panel. The finish detail of the side panel has a ribbed effect versus a smooth effect on the DSC. The RP case, brings fully extruded sides of the DSC and DII cases. The RP utilizes a sheet metal side made from the same vinyl clad material used to make the top and bottom panels. This allows affordable hole punching and ventilation to the side panels.

VersaFlex Sheet Metal Enclosures
Our
most recent addition to the enclosure family, the VersaFlex addresses
strict RFI/EMI shielding requirements for the electronic packaging
industry. Unlike most other Buckeye enclosures, this line does
not utilize extrusions - all parts are formed metal. The top and
bottom panels and outer side panels are steel while the balance
is aluminum. The VF features an internal side panel to accommodate
mounting
of internal
components without fasteners being seen on the outside. The VF
case was designed with excellent metal-to-metal contact to give
a very good base for a shielded enclosure. They are further enhancements
available to enhance the shielding capabilities. The finish on
the unit is a very durable powder coat on all parts except the
front and rear panels. The front panel is anodized and the rear
panel is finished in clear conductive coating. The shielding properties
have been tested by an outside lab and test data is available.
