Buckeye Shapeform Customizes Enclosure for
Instrumentation Supplier

OxySense, Inc, the leading global source of non-invasive oxygen measurement systems for packers and processors, contacted Buckeye Shapeform for a custom enclosure for its newest product, Gen III 5000.

OxySense wanted the Gen III 5000’s enclosure to aesthetically and functionally match the DSC enclosure that Buckeye Shapeform had previously supplied for a different product. However, the Gen III 5000 required a 7” slant front panel that the DSC case did not have. So the experts at Buckeye Shapeform developed a completely customized, hybrid enclosure from a combination of the DSC and KBS products.

Both the DSC and KBS enclosures are constructed from sturdy, lightweight aluminum and have standard vinyl top and bottom panels and 1/8” thick, clear anodized front and rear panels. A 55 degrees slant on the KBS front panel is the main difference between the two enclosures and the most important element that Buckeye Shapeform incorporated into the GEN III 5000’s custom case. This feature was necessary for OxySense to add its newest touch screen display to the final product.
