Buckeye Shapeform Named Preferred Supplier for Lockheed Martin

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Committed to providing quality products to original equipment manufacturers for more than 100 years, Buckeye Shapeform is pleased to announce its preferred supplier status for Lockheed Martin, a global security company. Buckeye Shapeform currently supplies the worldwide firm with its deep-draw technology for tactical missiles.

Preferred supplier status was designated after Lockheed Martin performed a comprehensive week-long on-site review of Buckeye Shapeform's business that included an in-depth review of all aspects of Buckeye Shapeform’s business operations, including a review of performance ratings on quality and delivery.

“We are honored to be known as a preferred supplier for this prestigious company,” says Ken Tumblison, president of Buckeye Shapeform. “Of the 1,200 vendors supplying the Tactical Missiles programs, there are less than 70 who are preferred suppliers. We have worked diligently towards meeting Lockheed’s supplier requirements and currently have performance scorecards with ratings of 100% on-time and 100% quality work.”
